It is with great sadness that County Cycle Pit Stop shares the passing of our good friend, Harold Gooch (“Harry” or “Goochie”), on Saturday, May 30.
Harold was a longtime friend to many, a passionate motocross and off-road racer, race promoter, businessman, and, above all, a devoted husband and father. His impact on the racing community and the countless lives he touched will not be forgotten.
We will share service arrangements as soon as the family makes them available. In the meantime, please keep his wife, Cathy, his sons, Mike and Dan, and his daughter, Annette, in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Godspeed, Harold. You will be deeply missed.
The visitation is Tuesday, June 23rd, at Roberts Funeral Home in Inver Grove Heights from 4-7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be June 24th, at 11 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Rosemount with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
“Goochie on 10” Wednesday Ride Night
E-Bike Rental & Group Ride
Starting July 1, join us every Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM for a scenic guided ride from Frazee to Detroit Lakes and back.
Cost: $39.99 per rider
Your registration includes:
- E-bike rental
- Helmet
- Transportation of the e-bike to the starting location
Simply register in advance and meet us at Lions Park in Frazee, home of the World’s Largest Turkey Statue, at 4:00 PM.
Enjoy a picturesque 11-mile ride along Highway 10 to Detroit Lakes, where we’ll stop at Jersey Mike’s for a meal and refreshments (meal not included) before returning to Frazee.
If you’re unable to complete the return ride, transportation back to Lions Park will be available.

This ride is dedicated to the memory of Harold E. “Goochie” Gooch, who passed away on May 30, 2026. His love of cycling, community, and the outdoors continues to inspire every ride.
